Green is such a bold and understated colour that makes people rather avoid wearing it than to embrace it. Of course, as the saying goes moderation is the key. This vibrant colour makes you stand out in the crowd from miles away but the question is...Are you ready for it? You can dress it down or dress it up, it all depends how you feeling or what your initial vision is when deciding to dress.
This is the season when we should embrace a change by updating the wardrobe with important pieces with the colour green. Even the big fashion designers such as Stella McCartney and Acne Studios had few gorgeous pieces that stood out on the catwalks with the colour green. Stella McCartney had a rather captivating African print dress which is to die for this summer party and can even use upto early autumn.
I have just bought a faux green tailored leather jacket from Mango which I will wear with a white tee and a pair of blue Levi's 501 or Topshop's Jamie jeans and top it all up with a pair of Stan Smiths or Alexander McQueen oversized sneaker. I also have every intention to invest in a green scarf that will compliment the whole outfit. I would start with my favourite high street stores; Whistles, Other Stories, Zara & Topshop.
If you have not guessed it by now, I love experimenting with green. So my thought is why not add a bit of green eyeshadow to your makeup collection. The makeup brand, Kat Von D has got this amazing green eyeshadow called Iggy. It is probably the most vibrant eye shadow colour on the market you will find. Another good thing about the Kat Von D makeup brand is that they are cruelty free and Vegan.
