MILK-COMM

SERVICE:
VISUAL IDENTITY
YEAR:
2024

Mischal Oliver, an english client, wanted a new visual identity for her company, MILK-COMM, which focuses on sustainable housing from repurposed containers.
She asked for a design that reflects her personality, with a Scandinavian influence and a modern, innovative look. The company is set to launch at the end of 2024.

The concept

The concept draws inspiration from Nordic living, blending modernity and innovation. It’s rooted in the Swedish values of sustainability—like composting and repurposing what we already have. Just as milk was a staple in your childhood, this concept reflects the way Swedish homes are built differently, emphasizing a modern, sustainable lifestyle.

Type and colour

Neon green and neon yellow paired with black and white create a bold, modern look. Adding grey softens the brightness, balancing the colors and bringing everything together. This palette reflects a love for innovation and a fearless approach to design.

Avenir and Geneva are sans-serif typefaces known for their clean, modern lines and readability. Avenir, designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1988, is geometric yet approachable, perfect for everything from branding to signage. Geneva, crafted by Susan Kare for Apple in the 1980s, is designed for screens, offering a timeless, clear, and neutral look. Both fonts are simple, modern, and effortlessly readable, making them go-to choices for any design.
